COREY Jordan and Callum Roberts will both be training at Southend United this week, Echosport understands.

Jordan is a 20-year-old defender from AFC Bournemouth who was sent out on loan at Eastbourne last season and will now be spending time with the Shrimpers.

Blues boss Kevin Bond handed current Cherries boss Eddie Howe his first coaching role in football and he is likely to have recommended Jordan who signed a new one year deal with the Premier League club earlier this summer.

Joining him in training at Blues will be winger Roberts who was released by Newcastle United in May.

The 22-year-old scored for the Magpies in the FA Cup at Blackburn back in January and also spent time on loan at Colchester.
