DAN Burzotta is expecting another explosive UWC fight night in Southend this weekend.

A number of top local fighters will be heading to Talk Nightclub on Saturday evening.

And Burzotta believes it will be a night to remember.

“We have a wide range of fights taking place and some really good match-ups so I think it’s going to be another really good night,” said Burzotta.

“We have 10 fighters from our TSG gym in action on the night and they’ve all been training hard.

“They’re looking sharp and they’re ready to go so we’re all really looking forward to it.”

Doors open for the ‘Heatwave’ show at 5.30pm with tickets still available to buy on the door.

And Burzotta is certain those in attendance will be kept entertained.

“Ticket sales have gone well but obviously we would love to get as many people in there as possible to make it another great effort and they will certainly have some good fights to watch,” said Burzotta.

“We have a number of our top local guys fighting and they’re all donating their proceeds to a charity of their own so it would be great for the town and the community to get right behind them and raise as much money as we can.”

Fifteen fights have been organised for the evening.

And Burzotta is looking forward to seeing the night get underway.

“It’s always good when the night gets underway because a lot of planning and training goes into it all,” said Burzotta.

“We have Danny Scotland fighting as the main event against Chris Jarvis and Danny’s son is also fighting too.

“Tommy Brunning, another popular local fighter, is fighting and so is Tom Mabandla, so it’s going to be great.”
