COREY Jordan has returned to Bournemouth after finishing his trial with Southend United.
The 20-year-old defender had been with the Shrimpers since the start of pre-season.
But Blues boss Kevin Bond confirmed the centre-back has now gone back to the Cherries and will not feature in Wednesday morning's behind closed doors friendly with Exeter City.
“Bournemouth have requested Corey to come back to them now so he’s not with us anymore,” said Bond.
“We’ve seen him play 45 minutes in one game and 60 minutes in another and in fairness to him he didn’t do anything wrong.
“We know a lot more about him now too after having him here with us and it could be something we re-visit if we need to.”
Former Aston Villa midfielder Jordan Lyden has also stopped training with Blues, meaning neither will feature against Exeter.
Winger Stephen McLaughlin could also miss out with a slight ankle problem.
