FORMER Southend United striker Norman Wabo has joined Dartford.
Wabo netted a number of goals for the Shrimpers' under 18 and under 23 sides but made just five substitute appearances for the first team before being released at the end of last season.
But the 21-year-old has joined the National League South side.
And joint managers Adam Flanagan and Jamie Coyle were pleased to welcome him on board.
They told the club's website: ”Norman is a someone we watched on a few occasions last season but we weren't able to bring to the club.
"He is an exciting young player who showcased glimpses of what he will be able to offer us this season in the few pre-season games he played in.
"He had a great goal scoring record while at Southend and if we can provide him with the chances then we feel he has the potential to score a lot of goals this season.”
Wabo was on trial with Gillingham last week and lined up against Blues in a pre-season friendly.
