SOUTHEND United manager Kevin Bond felt the Shrimpers' front-men were 'shocking' against Blackpool.
Bond opted to start with Simon Cox and Stephen Humphrys in attack before Theo Robinson replaced the latter 10 minutes into the second half.
But Bond was not impressed.
"The two front men were shocking," said the Shrimpers chief.
"We need to retain the ball and we need to see more from them.
"We made a change and it was any different after we made the change. "
However, Bond was less critical of areas of the team.
"The funny thing is I thought Harry Lennon played well today and so did (Joe) Shaughnessy by and large," said Bond.
"(Mark) Milligan was excellent and the two full-backs did OK. (Isaac) Hutchinson, a young kid, did alright on the ball but we shipped three goals."
