CONCORD Rangers grabbed a late victory at Hampton & Richmond Borough to return to winning ways, while Bowers & Pitsea and Basildon United booked their places in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup.

East Thurrock United and Canvey Island, meanwhile, will be involved in replays after being held to draws.

Concord sealed a 3-2 National League South triumph over Hampton.

The Beach Boys took the lead as Lamar Reynolds found some space by turning beyond ex-Billericay Town defender Dean Inman before curling into the net.

But Hampton levelled matters within eight minutes as Inman’s through ball released Danilo Orsi-Dadomo and the former East Thurrock United man converted.

The hosts then went in front three minutes after the interval as Orsi-Dadomo slotted past Beach Boys goalkeeper Chris Haigh.

Matters could have got worse for Concord as Hampton had a goal ruled out for offside three minutes later.

However, the Beach Boys were back on level terms with 13 minutes remaining as debutant Marcel Barrington slotted home.

And Concord grabbed a last-gasp win as, deep in stoppage time, Aron Pollock found the back of the net.

Bowers & Pitsea recorded a 2-1 comeback victory over Brentwood Town.

Jason Williams gave Isthmian North outfit Brentwood a third minute lead.

However, Bowers levelled matters seven minutes into the second half thanks to Quentin Monville.

And Rob Small’s charges turned the game on its head 10 minutes later as Max Cornhill added his name to the scoresheet.

Brentwood were handed another opportunity from the penalty spot, but their second effort was blasted over.

Basildon United will also be in the hat for the next round as they came from behind to secure a 2-1 win over Coggeshall Town.

Michael Gyasi struck the post early on as Coggeshall went in search of an opener.

The visitors eventually broke the deadlock through Ugo Udoji, but their lead lasted just two minutes as Adam Vyse deflected Nathan Okoye’s attempt into the back of the net.

And the Bees moved ahead just after the hour mark as Joe Paxman was on target.

Coggeshall looked for a leveller, but Basildon held on to progress.

East Thurrock are facing a replay at Peterborough Sports after drawing 1-1 at Rookery Hill.

Rocks took the lead nine minutes before the interval thanks to Lewis Smith’s fine header.

But John Coventry’s side were pegged back as Paul Malone met a corner and levelled matters for the visitors.

Canvey Island will also be involved in a first qualifying round replay as they drew 2-2 at Waltham Abbey.

Canvey took a 17th minute lead thanks to a fine goal from Tobi Joseph.

Joseph cut inside a defender before finding Josh Hutchinson.

Hutchinson then fed Joseph, who rifled home from 10 yards out.

However, the Gulls’ advantage lasted just five minutes as Leonne McKenzie tapped Junior Appiah’s dangerous centre home from close range.

Canvey came close to restored their lead when Jason Hallett headed a Sammy Knott corner against the crossbar in first half stoppage time.

Waltham Abbey capitalised on the miss as, two minutes after the break, Ryan Dear nodded home via the post.

Mark Bentley’s side appeared to have an uphill battle when George Purcell was dismissed after being shown a second yellow card moments later, but Hallett found an equaliser by lobbing goalkeeper Anthony Page.

Albert Levett came close to recording his first Canvey goal as he rattled the frame of the goal, but it was to finish honours even.
