WESTCLIFF Lionesses enjoyed another fine win as they saw off New Ash Green 38-5.

The Lionesses started off their second match of the season with Loren Ware-Lane scoring the first try, 14 minutes into the first half.

This followed with another from Charlotte Grant which was comfortably converted by Maddie Davies.

New Ash Green were struggling with injuries but kept their defence, fighting hard against the Lionesses.

Grant soon added another try and Davies' conversion made it 19-0 at the break.

With the second half underway, the first kick of the ball fell into the capable hands of Sophie Scanlon, who ran straight down the side of the pitch to set the ball down under the posts for the Lionesses.

Davies again added the extras before Carla Kraken touched down for another Westcliff try.

Moments later, captain Kay Edwards scored another try before the hosts hit back with an unconverted try of their own.
