BILLERICAY Town have confirmed the departure of Archie Tamplin.
The young midfielder made a handful of substitute appearances for the National League South outfit this term.
But, following his father Glenn’s decision to step down as the club’s owner, Tamplin has also left the Steel Team Stadium.
Billericay tweeted: “We can announce that Archie Tamplin has left the club.
“With the hard work and effort he always put in, we know this young lad has a very bright future in the game and we will be keeping a keen eye on his progress.
“Best wishes Archie.”
Tamplin becomes the second player to leave Billericay today, with Tambeson Eyong also departing.
