SOUTHEND Saxons are eager to enjoy a consistent run of results, starting with tomorrow’s trip to Amersham & Chiltern.
Saxons - who are fourth in the London One standings - got back to winning ways with a 53-22 victory against Harpenden last weekend.
But fly-half Ben Lloyd insists Southend are now determined to build on the triumph.
“We’re after consistency so we want to be putting out good performances every week,” said Lloyd.
“We know there’s a few things from last weekend that we need to tighten up and we need to work hard this week to get those right.
“Amersham is normally a tough place to go, so we’ll have to be at or near our best this weekend.
“But as a group we feel like we have a lot of potential and this weekend is a great opportunity for us to start realising that.”
