CRAIG Watters is set to take charge of Southend Manor for the first time tomorrow.
Watters was appointed as the Essex Senior League side’s new boss on Wednesday after Michael Walther’s 42 day tenure came to an end.
And Watters’ first task as Manor’s chief is going up against Clapton at Southchurch Park this weekend.
Both sides have struggled this term, having picked up 10 points apiece.
As a result, the clubs will be seeing this as an ideal opportunity to climb the Essex Senior League standings.
Manor are 18th, while Clapton are two places better off.
