SOUTHEND United manager Sol Campbell is excited to sample the other side of the FA Cup this weekend.
The Blues boss won the competition four times during his illustrious playing career.
But Sunday’s clash at Dover Athletic will be the first time Campbell has sampled a first round clash.
And the 45-year-old is looking forward to the contest.
“It’s my first experience of the first round but I can’t wait because I love the FA Cup and everything about it,” said Campbell.
“It won’t be the first time I’ve had one of these rough and tumble games but this is a warm distraction for us at the moment.
“It’s come at the right time for us but I’m looking forward to it because the FA Cup is beautiful.”
