WESTCLIFF will be looking to spring a surprise when they head to National Two South leaders Tonbridge Juddian tomorrow.

Westcliff will make the trip sitting second from bottom in the standings.

But scrum half Henry Morrant feels Westcliff can take confidence from their display against second placed Henley last weekend.

“The boys did really well after going down to three quick tries at the beginning and got themselves to within a score with some great defence to build pressure in the second half,” said Morrant.

“I think we’re always confident against any team in the league, knowing that when we play well we can score in different ways against anyone.

“We’ve just got to defend well and build from that.”

However, Morrant is also fully aware how tough tomorrow’s game will be.

"Obviously they’re top of the league and at home so there’s going to be plenty of the match where they’re going to be confident, especially at the start," said Morrant.

"We’re feeling good after training well so we’ve just got to take the game as it comes and see how it goes."
