ROCHFORD Hundred and Southend Saxons both secured victories this afternoon but there was defeat for Westcliff on the road.
Westcliff lost 42-5 at table-topping Tonbridge Juddian in National Two South despite leading 5-0 at half-time and remain second from bottom in the standings.
In the London & SE Premier Division, Rochford Hundred won 12-0 at Guildford.
But Rochford are now three points behind league leaders Wimbledon after failing to grab a try scoring bonus point.
In London One North, Southend Saxons moved up to third after beating Shelford 45-21 at Warners Bridge.
In London One South, Thurrock lost 29-15 at home to KCS Old Boys and are now 10th in the table while in London Two North East, South Woodham Ferrers lost 31-15 at Diss.
In London Three Essex, struggling Basildon lost 71-0 at Harlow while in Essex One Canvey Island lost 12-10 at Millwall while Billericay won 35-23 at Writtle Wanderers.
