LIAM Ridgewell could be close to leaving Southend United.
The experienced centre-back joined the Shrimpers in the summer but has played just 52 minutes so far this season.
And Blues boss Sol Campbell has confirmed Ridgewell is currently not training with the club as talks continue about his future.
“He’s not training with us,” said Campbell.
“We’re still in talks about various things contractually.
“I’m not too sure if it’s all been rectified.
“I can’t say where we are at the moment but he’s not here and we’re still talking.”
Ridgewell, 35, has made more than 400 appearances during his career after spells with Aston Villa, Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion.
