ROCHFORD Hundred hope to be able to show off their skills when they host CS Stags 1863 tomorrow.

Hundred, who sit second in the London & SE Premier Division standings, ground out a 12-0 win at Guildford on Saturday.

And Rochford Hundred’s director of rugby Chris Green is starting to think games should be played at a different time of the year.

“Maybe rugby should become a summer sport because when you have games like we did last week it’s just awful to watch,” said Green.

“You can’t really pass the ball, everyone is dropping it and it’s just not great at all so maybe we should be playing matches when the weather is better.

“Fingers crossed it will be dry at the weekend and we can get the chance to play some rugby.”

CS Stags are 12th in the table having triumphed twice in nine games so far this season.
