ECHOSPORT'S quest to form Southend United's team of the decade gets underway with the goalkeeping position.
Only three shot-stoppers have played more than 50 games for the club since 2010 and they form the shortlist for this position.
Glenn Morris made 64 appearances for the Shrimpers between 2010 and 2012 while Daniel Bentley played 160 times between the sticks after coming through the ranks at Roots Hall.
Bentley helped Blues win promotion via the League Two play-offs in 2015 and is now plying his trade in the Championship with Bristol City.
Mark Oxley, who is still with the Shrimpers, is the third goalkeeper to make the shortlist.
Oxley was player of the year for the 2017/18 season and has made 116 appearances for Southend.
