SOUTHEND United manager Sol Campbell was frustrated his side could not make more of their extra man at Burton Albion tonight.
The Shrimpers were held to a 1-1 draw by the Brewers who had John-Joe O’Toole sent off in the 33rd minute.
And Campbell was slightly disappointed not to have picked up more than a point.
“Beggars can’t be choosers and it’s a point we’ve secured but we didn’t really utilise the extra man and that’s disappointing,” said Campbell.”
“Nothing comes easily for us.
“We have to work and work and work and the lads played really well.
“But it’s something for us to build on and a month ago we would have lost that game.”
