SOUTHEND United manager Sol Campbell has yet to discover the extent of Nathan Ralph's shoulder injury.
Ralph dislocated his shoulder in the dying moments of Blues' 1-1 draw at Burton Albion at the start of December.
But Campbell is unsure how long Ralph will be out for.
“We still have to wait a little bit longer for a second opinion where Nathan is concerned,” said Campbell.
“I’ve had one (dislocated shoulder) before and it was three months but if there are any complications then it can be longer.
“If you need surgery it will be longer too but we’ll have to wait and see.”
