SOUTHEND Saxons will be looking to get their promotion push back on track when they head to Chingford tomorrow.
Saxons slipped to third in the London One North standings following Saturday’s 32-10 defeat to table-topping North Walsham.
And Southend’s scrum-half Harry Branch is determined to get back to winning ways.
“The game against North Walsham was gutting to say the least,” said Branch.
“We worked unbelievably hard as a squad and controlled the game very well but against the teams at the top you have to be very cut throat and, unfortunately, we missed our chances when they came.
“But we have to respond in the right way now against Chingford.
“Traditionally, they have a large pack and a bang average pitch to play on, so I imagine they will look to keep things tight and play up the middle.”
