HARRY Seaden is enjoying ‘priceless’ first team experience at Dagenham & Redbridge, according to Southend United’s academy manager Ricky Duncan.

The 18-year-old Shrimpers goalkeeper has started Daggers’ last two matches between the sticks.

And Duncan feels the young shot-stopper is already benefitting hugely from being with Peter Taylor’s side.

“Harry’s had a few loan spells already but it’s fantastic for him to be at a National League club now and getting experience with their first team,” said Duncan.

“For him to be in and around things at that level is priceless for a young player really,

“You couldn’t really buy that kind of experience and from the reports we’ve had back it sounds as though he’s been dealing with things well there too.

“This really will help with his development and it’s a great opportunity for him too.”

Seaden, who is based in Rayleigh and attended FitzWimarc School, came into the side for Dagenham’s 1-1 draw with Sutton in the FA Trophy on Saturday and then also helped them win the replay 3-2 at Victoria Road on Tuesday night.

Seaden has also represented England at under-16 and under-17 age-groups.
