ROCHFORD Hundred dug deep to triumph 22-10 at Hertford.
The victory kept Rochford second in the London & SE Premier Division standings.
But director of rugby Chris Green was not completely satisfied.
“I was pleased with the win and the attitude has been spot on since we lost to CS Stags but it was slightly disappointing to miss out on a bonus point,” said Green.
“We’ve reaffirmed our attention to detail and the work-rate and the last month has been great but it’s very close at the top and three teams are ahead of the rest.
“Our first target will be to secure at least second and then we’ll push on from there but it’s still in our own hands.”
Harry Hudson, Jamie Douglas and Adam Ferrier all scored tries in Rochford’s hard-fought win while the rest of the points came from the boot of Cameron Greenhall.
