FORMER Southend United trainee Matt Lockwood has been ruled out of tonight's clash at the City Ground with an ankle injury.
The left back joined Forest from Leyton Orient during the summer but has managed to make just one appearance so far this season.
Striker Grant Holt is also unavailable after undergoing surgery on a groin problem but fellow forward Nathan Tyson, who scored in Saturday's 2-0 triumph over Tranmere Rovers, is putting pressure on Kris Commons for a place in the starting line-up. Forest are currently fourth in the table but have won just one of their last four matches.
Commons is the top scorer having bagged seven goals already this season.
Nottingham Forest (from): Smith, Chambers, Breckin, Wilson, Bennett, Clingan, McGugan Cohen, Davies, Agogo, Commons, Tyson, Morgan, Roberts, Sinclair and Thornhill.
