FORMER Southend United manager Chris Powell has been named assistant manager of struggling Eredivisie side ADO Den Haag.
Ex Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has been named as boss and Powell will be heading to Holland to work alongside him.
Powell, who also made 290 appearances for Blues as a player, was manager between Janaury 2018 and March 2019.
It is understood Powell will also continue in his role as a coach within the England national set up.
