BLUES striker Theo Robinson is expected to extend his loan spell at Colchester United.
Robinson – who has been with the U’s since the end of August – scored his seventh goal of the loan spell in yesterday’s 2-2 draw against Exeter City.
And Echosport understands Colchester have an option to keep the striker at the club until the end of the season.
Robinson’s initial loan period ends later this week and he will be holding talks about his future.
“I’ll sit down with the clubs and go from there,” said Robinson.
“But for me, it’s all about playing football, that’s the main thing.
“I’ll need to have a conversation with managers and the staff. I’m doing well and the team is doing well, so if I’m continuing to do that then I’ll be staying here.”
