Returning - Theo Robinson is going back to Colchester United
SOUTHEND United striker Theo Robinson is set to return to Colchester United on loan until the end of the season, Echosport understands.
Robinson scored seven goals in 21 appearances during his initial loan spell with the U’s which finished earlier this month.
But sources close to the Shrimpers have now confirmed the forward will be heading back to the League Two club.
Robinson returned to Blues for training last week but did not feature in Sol Campbell’s matchday squad against Tranmere Rovers on Saturday.
The Shrimpers have Stephen Humphrys, Tom Hopper, Simon Cox, Brandon Goodship, Charlie Kelman, Matt Rush and Emile Acquah all battling for selection in attack.
