THE scoreline doesn't look good from the match at Forest on Tuesday but I honestly don't think we deserved to lose 4-1.

We started well with Mark Gower scoring a great goal and I thought we controlled the majority of the first half and looked comfortable.

Their equaliser came as a real body blow but we were all confident about getting back into the game after the break.

Unfortunately that didn't materialise but the referee really didn't help our cause.

There was a big crowd watching on and I think he was influenced by the atmosphere because he made a lot of strange decisions.

The second goal that Forest scored looked four or five yards offside from where I was standing and Leon Clarke insists he didn't even touch their guy for the sending off.

There were a lot of strange decisions all night though but we have to look forward and make sure we react in the right way.

We're going to miss Leon because he's scored a lot of goals in a short space of time since signing.

But we have a lot of other forwards at the club and this is their chance to impress.

That starts against Rochdale in the FA Cup this weekend and it would be nice to have a good run in the competition this year.

I think it's a great cup and at one point it was the best in the world so we will really be up for it.

I'm sure Rochdale will be as well and they will want to secure an upset so we know we have to be on top form.

Elsewhere, it's been my turn to get the stick and it's all to do with my fashion sense.

I always seem to get a mention in the Echo profiles the lads have been doing and the worrying thing is I think my wife agrees with them!
