WESTCLIFF face another crunch clash in their bid to maintain their National Two South status tomorrow.

Westcliff - who are playing at the highest level in their history - have moved 10 points clear of the drop zone after bagging back to back wins.

But scrum Chris Bolton is keen to keep the good run going by also seeing off bottom of the table Bournemouth at the Gables this weekend.

“It’s going be another tough game as all games are tough in this league,” said Bolton.

“But if we win it could give a big buffer between us and the drop zone which is key if we want to stay up this season so it’s an important game.”

However, Bolton feels Westcliff will be on a high heading into the clash.

“We’re feeling good for this Saturday,” said Bolton.

“We targeted this three game block to get three wins and with two in the bag already we’re confident we can get another.

“Saturday’s win at Old Redcliffians was great for the club.

“Five points on the road has been sought after this season and it gives us confidence for this weekend.

“We feel like we’ve been getting better every week.”
