STEPHEN Humphrys is ready to return to action for Southend United tonight.

The Shrimpers striker had been linked with a move to this evening’s opponents, Doncaster Rovers.

But Blues boss Sol Campbell feels the forward will not have been distracted by the uncertainty surrounding his future.

“For me I’m not going to go into who could’ve got a move or who might be thinking of a move,” said Campbell.

“The main thing is getting the players on a level and concentrating on Southend.

“I can’t control what’s happening outside or what’s happening above me.

“I’m trying to get the players in the right shape physically and mentally and we’ll go from there.

“But he’s better now and he’s ready to go.”

Humphrys missed Blues’ win at Accrington Stanley due to an illness.
