SOUTHEND United manager Sol Campbell is waiting to find out if Stephen Humphrys suffered a broken nose during tonight's 3-1 defeat at Doncaster Rovers.
Humphrys had to be taken off after 38 minutes at the Keepmoat Stadium after suffering a whack to the face when sending a header against the left post.
But Campbell does not know the seriousness of the injury at this stage.
"Hopefully it’s not a suspected broken nose," said Campbell.
"Hopefully it’s just a bloody one but if it’s broken it’s a different situation.
"We're waiting to find out."
Humphrys broke his nose, as well as his cheebone and eye-socket at Accrington Stanley last February.
