SOUTHEND United's fans have their say on Tuesday night's 3-1 defeat at Doncaster Rovers
This feels a lot like our last relegation from League One. Playing staff being stripped of its best assets while the fans are kept in the dark about the financial situation. The only good thing is that Sol has no interest in keeping to Ron's line so we'll get some info from him.

Honestly felt like watching a training session, Doncaster were better in every area. Kiernan shouldn’t have played but wish him well in LA after a tough Southend career, positively thought Harry Phillips looked very calm on the ball and was nice for him to score.

Massive credit to the youth system. Harry Phillips & Co providing a small glimpse of hope within a team that looks to have already accepted relegation. Sol has turned the performance rate around but it’s sadly over shadowed by our off the field struggles!
@AlfieTRobinson
Lucky it wasn't a heavier defeat. We looked out of depth in so many areas. Always a difficult place to come to but last night it felt like we wouldn't be back there for a long time.
@shrimpersaway
The players were finally taking strides forward and now with the ongoing stuff off the pitch we're back where Sol started. I can't blame him swerving every question, this is 100 per cent from above.

Another poor result... shock! Sol's hands are tied. Not the first time this has happened under RM as a group of fans we need to make our voices heard and that something has to change.
@Smithyy_8
Feel really sorry for the team so much going on upstairs that we don't get to hear. We've had some really good teams but this year is shocking. Will be a good four years before we have any chance of this league again shame.

In the circumstances with so many players departing, what message does that send to the remaining ones? Tiny squad now with too many youngsters by default to fill the void, so the result was inevitable. I’m very worried about our future now!
@tommyharris57
The issues are now so significant off the pitch that what is happening on it barely registers. Hats off to the 180 that travelled. Well done to Harry Phillips on getting his goal.
@JimboCambo
I think 3-1 flattered us. It could have ended up 8-3. Well done Harry Phillips, a proper secnd half from the lad.
@bibster541
Delighted for Phillips to get such a memorable personal debut but the big picture is worrying. Shipping out senior players, more injuries to the few we have left. It doesn't look like we are building for League Two, more just selling assets off in a desperate bid to make money.
@ShaunMalone1997
With players heading out the door on a daily basis it’s hardly a surprising result. In principle it’s great to see academy players getting their chance but worrying that Sol doesn’t appear to have a clue who’s leaving or if anyone is coming in!
