SOUTHEND United manager Sol Campbell is unsure if Rob Kiernan has played his last game for the club.
Kiernan - who has agreed a switch to Orange County FC in America - lined up at Doncaster Rovers on Tuesday night in what was expected to be his final appearance for the Shrimpers.
But Campbell was unable to clarify the situation.
"I don’t know what's happening, it's still up in the air," said Campbell.
"He’s technically a Southend player but I’m just not in control of any of this.
"It’s something that I have to deal with. "
"Come Friday I’ll see who is training and I’ll pick a team."
However, Campbell does not expect Timothee Dieng to feature against Lincoln City this weekend with the Frenchman still sidelined with a hamstring problem.
"It’s probably three or four days too early for Timothee Dieng," Campbell added.
