TOM Clifford believes Southend United can secure a shock result at Peterborough tonight to continue his birthday celebrations.
The Shrimpers’ left-back turned 21 on Sunday and hopes his best present is yet to come.
“It will be a tough test and Peterborough will have a lot of confidence but we have to go there believing we can win and hopefully we will,” said Clifford.
“It would be very nice to get three points against an in-form team and we have to carry on the way we played in the second half at Blackpool.
“If we started the first half like that then maybe we would have got something out of the game.”
Third placed Peterborough have won their last five outings while Blues remain second from bottom in the League One standings.
