SOUTHEND United winger Sam Barratt missed the Shrimpers' 4-0 defeat at Peterborough United with a hamstring injury.
Barratt was taken off at half-time against Blackpool at the weekend.
And Blues boss Sol Campbell was unable to call upon the 24-year-old at London Road.
"It's his hamstring but hopefully it's not too bad," said Campbell.
"He's just got back after a long time out so he's not fully hardened for the rigours of football.
"But we're a fragile team with a lot of fragile players."
