"Well once I saw my first match with my elder brother I got hooked on Southend United."

What was your first ever Blues game?

"It was 31st October 1986, Halloween!

"It was Division Four and Southend beat Torquay 4-0."

What is your favourite ever goal?

"There are quite a few but Ian Benjamin scoring at Bury in 1991 would be top as it saw us promoted to the old second division for the first time in the club's history.

"I remember standing on my seat screaming when the winner went in 10 minutes from time.

"Close to that would be Peter Clarke's last minute equaliser at Chelsea, Joe Pigott's goal at Wembley and Freddy Eastwood's free-kick against Manchester United."

What is your favourie ever Blues game?

"The League Two play-off final against Wycombe.

"We had fans walking out but then Pigott scored and we won on penalties."

Favourite ever player?

"Local lad and legend Adam Barrett.

"He had two wonderful spells with the club, winning three promotions.

"He was such a leader and had so much passion for the club."
