Doing his bit - former Southend United winger Scott Forbes
FORMER Southend United winger Scott Forbes has written a song to raise funds for the NHS during the coronavirus pandemic.
Forbes would often entertain his Shrimpers team-mates with his guitar playing abilities.
But he is now putting his skills to use to help the NHS.
"I just wanted to do something to help the NHS with the amazing work they are doing right now, " said Forbes.
"We've raised more than £3,000 so far and hopefully we can raise even more for such a good cause."
