DANNY Cowley insists he will take his time before deciding where he will head next in management.
Cowley was surprisingly relieved of his duties at Huddersfield Town earlier this week just days after securing the Terriers’ Championship status.
But the former Concord Rangers told Echosport he was pleased to have guided Town to safety.
“We’re pleased to have achieved what we set out to do,” said Cowley, who previously taught at Rayleigh’s FitzWimarc School.
“It was definitely our toughest challenge to date but importantly we have learnt lots.
“We have a couple of options but we’re going to take some time to reflect and learn from this experience before deciding what our next challenge is.”
Cowley, who spent just 10 months in charge of Huddersfield, is the bookmakers favourite to be the next Bristol City manager.
Echosport has also been inundated by Blues fans wanting the 41-year-old to replace Sol Campbell at Roots Hall.
