FORMER Southend United manager Chris Powell has joined Tottenham Hotspur's academy as head of coaching.
It is the 50-year-old's first club role since he left ADO Den Haag as Alan Pardew's assistant in April.
And Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is pleased to have Powell on board.
"We are pleased to welcome Chris Powell, someone our academy has known for a number of years in his various coaching roles and his experiences during a successful playing career will prove invaluable to our young players," said Levy.
Powell bossed Blues between January 2018 and March 2019 and also made 290 appearances for Southend as a player in the 1990s.
