SOUTHEND United manager Mark Molesley will continue to run the rule over Jack Bridge.

The 24-year-old midfielder started this afternoon's 3-0 win against Hullbridge Sports and created a goal for Shrimpers striker Brandon Goodship.

But Blues boss Molesley will have another look at Bridge in two more behind closed doors friendlies next week before deciding whether or not to offer him a new deal.

"We’re still having a look at Jack who is no stranger to the club," said Molesley.

"We will have another look at him this week and make a decision."

Bridge came through the youth ranks at Roots Hall and made 11 first team appearances before leaving in 2018.

Since his departure Bridge has lined up for Northampton Town and Carlisle United but is now keen to return to Roots Hall.
