FORMER Southend United striker Theo Robinson has joined Port Vale.
The 31-year-old has signed a two year deal with the League Two side.
And Robinson, who finished last season on loan at Colchester United, is pleased to have joined.
"It feels like a family club and I'm loving that idea and the challenge ahead," Robinson told Vale's official website.
"The team is very good and I want to add my experience and look for promotion.
"This is an opportunity I couldn't turn down and I'm looking forward to getting started."
Robinson left the Shrimpers at the end of last season, having scored 20 goals in 104 games .
The striker will be back at Roots Hall with Vale at the end of October.
