EMMANUEL Osadebe has joined Walsall, just months after he was unable to be registered at Southend United.
The Shrimpers signed the midfielder, who worked with ex Blues boss Sol Campbell while at Macclesfield Town, back in February and he watched several matches from the stands.
However, Osadebe could not be registered by Southend due to a transfer embargo and he is now excited to have teamed up with the Saddlers.
“I’m delighted to join the club and I’m excited by the challenge,” Osadebe told Walsall’s official website.
“It’s a great club and a stable club that is pushing forward.
“I want to play as many games as I can and show what I can do.
“I’ve played in this stadium a couple of times and I feel like we have a good group here, everyone is ready to kick on and I can’t wait to get going.”
Osadebe, who trained with the Shrimpers for several months, will face Southend at the Banks’s Stadium in November before visiting Roots Hall at the start of February.
