MORE football teams than ever before are turning to data to help hit top form and former Southend United analyst Ben Cirne is keen to play a part.

Cirne spent seven years with the Shrimpers before joining Championship club Millwall.

But he has now opted to go it alone and is excited to have formed the Global Football Group along with entrepreneur David Lynch.

“When the opportunity came up to do this it was really exciting and too good to turn down” said Cirne.

“It’s an area more and more clubs are looking at and we can offer many different packages and experienced analysts for small budgets”

“We’re keen to get as many clubs on board from all levels and can cater the analysis to their needs.”

Cirne has worked with a number of experienced managers that includes Chris Powell, Phil Brown and Gary Rowett during his career.

And all have helped Cirne to learn what clubs and coaches really want and need to develop.

“We offer a wide range of analysis options for clubs” said Cirne.

“We code games to a professional standard, we can produce personalised videos as well and can also help with the analysis of future opponents and transfer targets as well.

"We also go into colleges to teach students and we can also help educate coaches to get the most out of the analysis and to really help their teams.

“We’re happy to help any clubs at any level with any budget for it.

"I’m keen to get the word out there that video and analysis is so important”
