Debutant - Kyle Taylor started for Southend United in midfield
SOUTHEND United manager Mark Molesley heaped praise on debutant Kyle Taylor following Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Morecambe.
Taylor went straight into the starting line-up after signing on loan from Bournemouth.
And Molesley was pleased with the midfielder's performance.
"He did very well," said Molesley.
"He hasn’t even trained with us either.
"He got down yesterday afternoon and he played today.
"He was still learning people’s names out there so under the circumstances I thought he was a real shining light."
