SOUTHEND United boss Mark Molesley feels the club's academy staff should be credited for their work with Isaac Hutchinson.
The attacking midfielder, who was added to Blues' under 23 squad in 2018 following his release from Brighton & Hove Albion, has now sealed his switch to Championship club Derby County.
And Molesley was keen to praise the coaches who had worked with the
"You have to take your hat off to the club for how they nurtured his talent," said Molesley.
"He’s gone to a massive football club in the championship now and we wish him well.
"It’s a big opportunity for him."
Hutchinson made 40 first team appearances while with the Shrimpers
