SOUTHEND United striker Charlie Kelman is edging closer to joining Queens Park Rangers.
Talks continue between the two clubs and the 18-year-old is now expected to make the switch to Loftus Road by the end of the week.
Kelman came through the youth ranks at Roots Hall and has scored six goals in 35 games since breaking into the first team.
But the youngster has been left out of the squad for the Shrimpers’ last three games and now seems destined to depart.
