SOUTHEND United manager Mark Molesley will be looking to 'add value' to his Shrimpers squad on transfer deadline day.
Blues have until 5pm on Friday to bring in any players currently on the books on another club.
And Molesley has not ruled out adding to his Shrimpers squad.
"We will always look to add value when we can," said Molesley.
"But the group of players we already have are growing and getting stronger every week .
"There are some really good players to come back off the injury table for us too.
"We’re finding ourselves in a healthier situation than we were at the start of the season and the squad is looking more competitive.
"We will always look at ways to improve but it would need to be the right character and person.
"A space has opened up and if someone with the characteristics becomes available we will always look to do that."
