SITTING second bottom of the National League South table after two games, Billericay Town host Havant and Waterlooville tomorrow, reports Leon Imber.

Jamie O’Hara’s men have failed to score in their opening two fixtures, but have conceded four and while there is no need to panic so early on in the season, the Town boss will be looking to address the issues sooner rather than later.

Concord Rangers have yet to be defeated in league and cup so far this season but face stern opposition this weekend as they travel to Hungerford Town.

The hosts have won their opening games 3-0 and 2-0 against Chippenham Town and Tonbridge Angels respectively. In the Isthmian Premier Division, Bowers and Pitsea take on Kingstonian at the Len Salmon Stadium.

Bowers have picked up seven points from a possible nine at home so far this season, and the impressive record could be set to continue if Billy Knott continues his fine run of goalscoring form, which has seen him score in all of his side’s last four outings.

Elsewhere in the division, East Thurrock United make the trip to Bognor Regis, still looking for their first three points of the season. Paul Martin’s side are currently rooted to the bottom of the table.

All Isthmian North Division sides sit out of the weekend’s action, apart from Canvey Island, who travel to the east of Kent to take on Ramsgate in the FA Trophy.

The Gulls have enjoyed success so far in the FA Cup, progressing into the fourth qualifying round of the competition and will be gunning for similar success in the Trophy.

In the Essex Senior League, Southend Manor’s match against Hadley will not take place due to one of the members of the opposing team’s squad testing positive for COVID-19.

Hashtag United’s away fixture against Cockfosters will take place however, as the Tags look to knock the home side off the top of the table. Hashtag sit second in the standings.
