JOHN White, Alan McCormack and Simeon Akinola are not ready to feature for Southend United at Salford City tomorrow.
The trio are still sidelined by injuries.
And Blues boss Mark Molesley does not expect them to figure against Paul Scholes' side.
"Touch wood we’ve got the cleanest bill of health we’ve had so far but we’re still waiting on John White, Sim Akinola and Alan McCormack but hopefully it’s short term rather than long term now.
"All of them have had minor setbacks along the way but they’re ticking the right boxes and it can’t come quickly enough."
However, Molesley is not prepared to take any risks.
"We have to get the right amount of work into them," said the 39-year-old.
"We want to welcome them back as quickly as we can but we have to be careful, especially with so many games coming up.
"We can’t afford to bring them back too soon and undo the good work they’ve done building things up.
