IN the Isthmian Premier Division, East Thurrock United could not build upon their previous victory and fell to a 3-1 defeat against the 10 men of Worthing, reports Leon Imber.

Cameron Tutt was given his marching orders midway through the first half and a late Ezekiel Badamosi goal was merely a consolation.

Meanwhile, in the Isthmian North Division, Hullbridge Sports made it three defeats on the bounce as Felixstowe and Walton comfortably saw the game out with a 2-0 victory.

Basildon United were also on the wrong end of a 2-0 score line as Heybridge Swifts put them to the sword.

Andrew Fennell and Isaac Nkosi scored either side of half time to put their side in the driving seat.

Yet another defeat came in the form of Great Wakering Rovers spectacular match against Histon, in which Stephen Butterworth’s men lost 4-3.

Kojo Apenteng opened the game’s scoring and Histon responded well, scoring three in succession.

Wakering tried to force a comeback but ultimately fell short, despite another Apenteng strike and an own goal by Dan Brown.

Lastly, in the Essex Senior League, Southend Manor held Hashtag United to a 1-1 draw.

It was impressive result for Manor, as the Tags have been on a great run of late and sit at the top of the table.
