SOUTHEND United defender Nathan Ralph will discover more about his knee injury this week.
Ralph was stretchered off against Salford City last Tuesday.
And Blues boss Mark Molesley confirmed the left-back was set for a scan tomorrow.
"He will have a scan and see the specialist," said Molesley
"We’re waiting and keeping our fingers crossed but we can’t make a call on that one until he’s seen the specialist.
"We decided to do both of them simultaneously so we get a thorough reading from it.
"It will give us a clearer picture and we're hoping for the best because he’s been excellent and is a big player for us.
