SOUTHEND United suffered a 2-1 defeat to Oldham Athletic last night and will today be looking to avoid an even greater setback.
The bottom of the Shrimpers, who conceded late on against the Latics at Roots Hall, are back in court this morning to address a winding up petition of close to £500,000 from HMRC.
But Blues boss Mark Molesley, whose side have yet to win this season, feels the off the field issues are not troubling his team.
"All we concern ourselves with is the football," said Molesley.
"We got to training, we work hard and go to play a game.
"I haven’t spoken about that (to Ron Martin).
"We’re fully focused on the football."
